The Dam Hills
What do you do on a Sunday afternoon in the 1950s when you're too young to to go to the pub - and anyway they shut at 3pm. No cinemas open either, so it's away to what we used to call the Dam Hills to watch the girls go by and just like the song, they were watching us. Ltr John Skidmore always a sharp dresser, Geoff Lewis, Ted Lockyer, Arnold Hayes with binoculars, and I believe, John Hartley?
