Statham Maypole
Statham May Pole showing Fred Lockyer, with moustache, former landlord of the Star. Fred Lockyer was the instigator of the Statham Festival and who died in 1919 after a long illness.
The dancers are on the site of what is now Lymmington Avenue with the canal in the background.
