Ship Canal Huts
This wooden house was one of a pair on Barsbank Lane where Lymmington Avenue is now. They were originally built during the construction of The Manchester Ship Canal possibly for the use of a manager or foreman.
Jim Struthers and family lived in this one and Ned Rowles in the other.
