Lloyd Bridge
Heritage Category: Listed Building Grade II
The bridge carries Oughtrington Lane over Bridgewater Canal. It was built around 1770 by James Brindley of sandstone and red brick. Lloyd Bridge is named after a family who served the Bridgewater Canal Company for more than 200 years, but it is also known as Dog Bridge after the inn that used to stand close by.
