Flint from garden, Higher Lane

An implement, made from a flint blade.

It has fine serrations along one edge that will be from utilisation, from scraping/cutting across some medium to soft material and far greater, less regular damage on the other side. That has the look of potentially being more recent, but given prehistoric utilisation on one side it could have been there also on this side.  This could represent either subsequent re-use on a harder material or in a less controlled way, which has obscured any earlier use, if it was present.

Not possible to say whether this edge had been used previously or not as the damage is a bit too extensive, but still prehistoric as a piece.
