Mrs Clara Kirkpatrick
Clara Kirkpatrick, (nee Profitt).
Clara married William, a Scotsman who was a builder and joiner in Lymm.
In 1911 they were living at the Bridgewater Arms next to the canal, running the pub though William still described himself as a builder.
In 1926 at the age of 72, Clara took over the licence when her husband died.
