'Little Belgium in Lymm' event - (August 2018)
The Centre's Chair, Alan Williams presenting the remarkable story of the Belgian refugee colony at Oughtrington Hall during World War I
The talk also featured fascinating, a newly discovered archive of photographs from The Henry Ford Archive, take during their stay. This offered unique glimpses of the building as it was over 100 years ago as well as what life was like for the refugees providing quite a few surprises.
