Dane Cottage from Bridge by Dorothea Rowlinson
The cottage was situated on Whitbarrow Road where the steps go down to Slitten Brook (The Dane) as the old Lymm folk call it. On the left side of the print is the outline of an advertisement hoarding, quite a large affair and in an unusual place - but as kids it was a great thing to climb up.
