Lymm 3rd volunteer Cheshire Regiment, 1904
On parade at The Drill Hall on Church Road.
Behind these grand uniforms are some very young faces. the exact colours have been carefully researched with the co-operation of the Cheshire Regiment museum in Chester. Quite why a kilt was deemed appropriate for and English regiment is uncertain, but it was the tartan of the Black Watch.
