Clay Terrace and Mercer's Stores
Clay Terrace on Booths Hill Road (Top Lane) was demolished in the 1960s for a residential care establishment. The shop on the left was Torrie Platt's greengrocer's and on the right is Mercer's grocer's. The photograph was taken from the top of Newfield Road.
