The Dog, Heatley

At one time there were three pubs or beer houses in Lymm with the word 'Dog' in their titles.  The Dog and Punchbowl near what is now the Church Green,  The Dog Inn near Dog Bridge in Oughtrington and this rare photograph The Dog on Mill Lane.   Thomas Forster is on the left and who was the Landlord at the beginning of the 20th century.  His daughter is in the centre and son-in-law with his bowler hat and waistcoat.
