Farm on Booths Hill Road

This farm is now demolished and was at the site on Highfield Road. The milestone on the left was later moved to the opposite side of the road - in front of Elms Farm estate.

This farmstead was also utilised as a ‘rest’ by cyclists and known as a CTC farm (Cyclists Touring Club - as wheelmen were then starting to take themselves off the beaten track and into more remote parts of the country like Lymm.
