Agden Brook Farm: a year in the life of a farm
Lymm Photographic Society was delighted to be invited by Mr Frank Cookson to record life on the farm over the course of a year.
The project was to capture images which reflected the people and activities on the farm from 2023 - 2024 and to preserve these for posterity, at a time when Cheshire farm life undergoes significant changes.
Indeed, during the life of the project, the farm's dairy herd was auctioned, a sad yet invaluable moment captured by the Lymm Photographic members. In order for this important historical record to be preserved for ever, these photographs have been donated to Lymm Heritage Centre - so enjoy highlights selected from 'a year in the life of a farm!'.
