Hilton's Booteries

Today (2018) this is the home of Lymm Barbers with Hilton's being one of several shoe shops in the village. Many, including Hiltons described themselves as manufacturers as well as repairers and sellers. The boy on the left is a telegram boy who almost certainly worked at the Post Office which was then Post Office Place,  This was facing the Spread Eagle, part of which is now Sextons Bakery (2018).
