Baby Boutique
Donated by one the Centre's latest volunteer's, Moira Yeamans, this image shows the Baby Boutique in the 1960s.
Moira opened her first baby clothes shop on Booths Hill road around 1963, on the corner of Newfield Road. As the business progressed, the range of clothes extended to children up to the age of 7 / 8 years of age - and with a large showroom of prams and nursery goods upstairs.
In 1967, a shop became available in Lymm Village, which Moira and her family moved into, closing down the Booths Hill premises, now being to able to extend a wider range of products and even some ladies wear.
Moira decided to move on in 1978 to explore new opportunities and 17 The Cross is now the popular lady's dress shop, Bee Chic.
