Bridgewater Street: Diamond Jubilee
A very popular view taken from the canal. The decorations are up for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. The builder's yard on the left is Brazendales who built the National School on Pepper Street. This was later the site of the Post Office and more recently the Brewery Tap pub and micro-brewery (2018)
