Warburton Bridge construction

Showing a detailed view of the construction of the bridge in a photograph taken from the rivetta's stage hanging from the underside of the opposite cantilever.  Some idea of the great height of this road above the water may be gathered by comparing the farm buildings and trees seen on either side on the wing walls of the abutment.
