Skating on Lymm Dam

It's been another relatively mild January, unlike years gone by when games of ice-hockey were a regular occurence. This photo was as recent as 1979. During the 1940s crowds descended on the ice in their hundreds as this old cine-footage shows, which we have shared before, recalls.
