Hazlehurst: grocer and provisions dealer

This building is long since demolished. It is now an empty space but this four storey building must once have been one of the most imposing in the village. The carriage and driver would not have been associated with the shop but would have been connected to one of the local families of gentry, perhaps Dane Bank House which was (and still is) just around the corner.
