Shuttleworth’s Shop. The owner was a Grocer, tea dealer and provision merchant. According to the sign over the shop, it boasted of a branch in Altrincham. it was situated on the corner of Eagle Brow and Bridgewater Street where the now closed branch of Barclays Bank is (2018).
