Interview with Bessie Vale

Bessie Vale worked at the bar in the Lymm Hotel.  In 2016, Bessie recalled  'I remember Pele was left at the hotel for the Hungary game  - injured apparently. But when Brazil scored, he started running up and down the room, jumping for joy'.  I said, ' I thought you were supposed to be injured!'.  He smiled, not that he understood very much English apart from 'biscuits'.
