Edna Smith and brother Alan Davis at Cycle Exhibition (2017)

What a pleasant surprise for Alan Davis and his wife Sue when they visited their family in Lymm recently. Alan's father had a bicycle shop on Booths Hill Road in the 1950s. However sometimes in life, a memory turns up of which he and his sister were not aware of.  From many miles away in New Zealand, a family member found a picture of George Davis, their father, at his shop and it was sent on its way to Lymm, finally finding its way to the Heritage Centre. For Alan and his sister Edna (pictured here), it brought back so many happy memories. They were delighted to see it featured in our display.
