A Quiet Revolution - the Centre's first exhibition (July 2017)

A QUIET REVOLUTION ... the name of our first exhibition which opened  on June 22nd 2017 to coincide with Festival and Transport Day.

It's the story of the bicycle and how it changed lives everywhere including Lymm,  Lymm's first bike race was in 1876 ... the menace of the scorchers, the Rostherne Invasion, The Clarion Socialists .., and the first ever "round the world" bicycle ride in the 1880s, that passed through High Legh.
