Covered canal dock

Heritage Category: Listed Building Grade II

Built around 1770, probably by James Brindley. At one time it was used to store the canal ice-breaker boat. It is situated between Henry Street and Davies Way car parks and runs underneath buildings on Henry Street. A Lego model of this tunnel and its fascinating story can be viewed at Lymm Heritage Centre.
