Tommy Griffiths

This is Tommy Griffiths from Warrington, proudly showing off his collage of the World Cup, 1966 that had been played 60 years ago to the day! Tommy and his friends Gary, Matthew and Kevin travelled especially to the Heritage Centre to loan this unique piece of football history.  Tommy added that he was too far away to get Pele's autograph at the time but still happy that he got Djalma Santos instead. 

Tommy also quipped that as a kid he walked from Warrington Bank Quay Station to Lymm to get Bobby Charlton's autograph ... only to swap it later for a Mars Bar ! Wonder who has it now  ... !!!
