Lymm Signal Box: interior

Lymm signal box interior looking westwards showing the barrier control box on a white pedestal.  Prior to this, there had been a large manually operated ship-like wheel, about 1 m in diameter that would require all the signalman's strength to rotate and open / close the wooded gates that stopped the cars going across the tracks.
